BIG Night In Spring Fashion Show LIVE from Big Brothers Big Sisters St. Thomas-Elgin
Last night was a first for St. Thomas! Together with the team at Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas-Elgin we produced a four camera livestream Fashion Show - and we pulled it off in the bare minimum of time available from various locations across the city! Thanks to everyone that tuned in to see the show and everyone that's going to check it out!
There's something special about knowing you're in a live production where anything can happen - as you'll see when you watch the production!
If you would like to buy a gift certificate to one of the participating businesses or donate directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas-Elgin follow the link: https://st-thomas-elgin.bigbrothersbigsisters.ca/…/big-ni…/…
Thanks to Carolyn Johnson from Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas-Elgin who had the vision for this show and pulled out all the stops, and I suspect a couple of all-nighters, to make it happen.
Thanks to Samantha Wakefield at 94.1 myFM for helping to promote and co-host the show and thanks to Warren Allen for co-hosting on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas Elgin.
A big shout out to Patti Mugford from Mugford Shoes & Clothing for promoting and co-hosting. Thanks also to Patti & Jodi Mugford and the the models, Shelly Haycock & Tanya Brown, for making time on a weekend to organize the beautiful outfits and pre-film each of them for the audience.
Don't forget, Mother's Day is coming up this weekend and now is the perfect time to buy gift cards on the BBBS website from Mugford Shoes, and a portion of the proceeds will go to BBBS!
Thanks to Anita Waite from Salt & Pepper Meals for helping to promote and provide gourmet appetizers. Gift cards to Salt & Pepper Meals are also available on the site with a portion of the proceeds going to BBBS. Anita makes awesome dinners for when that special someone just needs a night off!
And a huge shout out to Janis Smith Harris from Harris Flower Farm & Pastured Pork for promoting the show on her social media channels as well as donating flower arrangements for the fashion show segments and all the participants livestreams to make everything look just that much better. And it should be noted that Janis did this while also prepping flowers for mother's day. She's basically a superhero. You can also buy gift cards (for your mom!) on the website from Harris Flower Farm with a portion of the proceeds going back to BBBS.
If you enjoyed this event and would like to see Establish Media (aka Marty Lewis and myself) volunteer more time to film, produce, and promote events like this in our community, please consider supporting us via our new Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/establishmedia
And last, and most importantly, thanks to my fiancé Jess Andrews who shares my vision for community productions like these and without whose support none of this would be possible!
There's still a lot to learn and and improve with directing and producing livestream productions, but we're looking forward to the adventure!
